Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century
I came across this interesting video a while back, it’s Joel Klein, CEO of News Corps talking about the need for competition and innovation within our schools. He’s right, our schools are fashioned on a system built in the 19th century for an industrial era. Society has moved on and so should our education system.
I am proud to be working for Manaiakalani as one of their Outreach Facilitators working in the Far North of New Zealand. Through the Manaiakalani Outreach Programme we’re making a difference to the lives of young people by providing teachers and their schools with professional development to support them in a Learn, Create, Share world.
